So, has the Xbox One dust settled yet...

Sorry for not having posted in awhile, but I figured I'm not your go-to source for news on Xbox One nor can I type or turn my head fast enough to keep up cause I ain't getting paid for this. So for now, ill just post occasionally to talk about Xbox One and Minecraft. No breaking news subjects, just discussion and thought of the new platform and future of Minecraft on console.

First off, good news. They did announce that Minecraft will be on the Xbox One. They didn't specify if it is a brand new version because of the architecture of the Xbox One hardware or not. Nor did they talk about how this will impact the 360 version we have now. They did stipulate that updates will continue for 360, but how will that affect you wanting to play Minecraft with friends who play it on One?

Will you be able to import your world across consoles? What about your friends that can't afford buying a new console let alone another copy of Minecraft? Will they just not exist in Xbox One Minecraft world? It wouldn't be a big hurdle to have 360 and One players play on Xbox Live if they keep the worlds within both consoles abilities. Its just the hardware changing and the network growing, not abandonment of players cause they can't upgrade. Technically, if a server was still open for it, couldn't you play an original Xbox game online?
