So, how was your week? Sound good...me? Not much, thanks for asking. Anyway, been hearing some stuff through the grape vine and wanted to share it with y'all. Firstly, all this 360 and One drama. There are whispers that future hardware development of the 360 is done. though there may be one small hardware revision ready to implement, after the last announced revision, if 360 sales are still semi-strong. Software, such as games or possibly dashboard updates, are going to continue being pushed along with the One's updates until such time as they think that people have stopped playing 360.
I don't think that will be long since they have grown their Xbox Live network so large, but that all depends on the demands of Xbox One games multiplayer probably taking priority over older servers. So maybe by the time Gears of War 6 or 7 is out and they have stopped selling 360 consoles, they will shut down the Gears of War 1 servers. Other than all the usual lack and/or abundance of true/complete bullshit rumors, things have seemed to calm down a lot after Microsoft said they won't be implementing their DRM plans.
