More brainwaves. I apologize for the mess. I am a culprit of this so I thought of a couple solutions to not having a mic and trying to talk to other players in a host.
I know the first thing that comes to mind would be to use Xbox messages, but that is inconvenient. It's also very disruptive, especially so if trying to record video. So I thought maybe using Google+, Facebook, or other group social messenger. That way, everybody can stay in contact, it won't disrupt the game at all, and it won't require people to divulge their personal info for their own sense of security. Even better, video chat through Google + hangout so that you can still chat in person. If you're shy, just point the camera toward something else.
If you even cared, you could make a page on Google+, Facebook, maybe twitter, or whatever to keep track of what is said if you want to be that anal about those things.
